Midfielder Kristjan Asllani came to the end of the road to Inter Milan, without ever really meeting expectations.
This is the point of view of today’s printed publishing of the Journal de Turin Tutosport, via FCinternews.
Midfielder Kristjan Asllani will join Torino on loan with a purchase option this summer.
The Albanian left Inter Milan after three years at the club.
Asllani came to Empoli’s Inter in the summer of 2022. As Tuttosport noted, he had been on the nerazzurri radar long before.
Inter had spotted Asllani when he was part of the Empoli youth team system.
Consequently, the Albanian had been a priority target for Inter even when he was still a teenager. They signed him in the hope that he would be the long -term successor of Marcelo Brozovic.

However, during the first season of Asllani at Inter, it was rather Hakan Calhanoglu who took the reins when Brozovic underwent some long injuries.
Therefore, Calhanoglu did not become the backup of Brozovic – he replaced the Croatian.
As a result, Asllani has rather become Calhanoglu’s sub-study to hold the midfielder for Inter.
However, Note Tuttosport, the 23 -year performance has never been up to expectations.
It is true that Asllani had some excellent performances and moments in an inter-headmis. He also scored four goals for the club.
However, the feeling is that Asllani has not really grown and improved as Inter had hoped.
Consequently, the Albanian went to the exit door after three years.
