Last year, he collected an average of 24.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game for the Los Angeles Lakers, who underwent a first round in the playoff series.
While producing at an elite level, the future of James has been the subject of speculation. He exercised his player option to stay with the Lakers, but the intersane reports alluded to the underlying tension while the franchise pivots towards the newly acquired star Luka Doncic.
For the moment, however, James remains attached to Los Angeles – and his new hobby.
Monday, Kevin Love, the former teammate and good friend of James, published a mixture of personal snapshots and familiar faces on Instagram – but a short video attracted the most attention.
In this document, James is seen putting himself on a golf course, taking another swing which has quickly become a subject of recurring discussion among fans.

James’ golf trip became a public on July 4, when he published a video that showed him shots, his unrefined swing comparisons with the famous form of Charles Barkley.

The golf world immediately noticed.
The former PGA Tour winner Jordan Spieth offered Swing advice, while Stephen Curry came with James to follow up at the American Century championship, transforming clips into a light season.

Since then, James has published several clips, including one in the Dominican Republic where he played under heavy rains and officially admitted being “addicted to the game.
The new love for the golf course of James reflects a path taken by other great NBAs, such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Curry, who turned to sport as a competitive outlet and a pursuit of lifestyle.
James, now entering the twilight of his playing career, seems serious to continue this new challenge.
